The Service Technician is responsible for the safe and timely installation, maintenance and repair of oil and propane systems.
Ability to work full time hours with on-call and weekends on a rotating basis is required.

Responsibilities

Installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial oil heating equipment

• Adhere to and maintain all safety protocols and regulations
• Accurately diagnosing and repairing equipment in the customer’s home
• The ability to select and use basic tools or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair or test various products
• The ability to give the customer an accurate estimate of the cost of repair or installation
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
• The ability to provide knowledgeable, courteous and professional customer service

Responsibilities

• Minimum 10 years of experience in heating and colling repair or similar technical capacity
• Must have a valid Journeyman’s Oil Burner license and/or valid propane and natural gas license
• Prior experience setting and installing propane tanks is a plus
• Tank Setters license is a plus
• Valid Maine Driver’s license required

The CDL Delivery Drivers are responsible for the safe and timely delivery of oil and propane to our customers and conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance..

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, transfers and delivers propane, and/or fuel oil to residential and commercial locations.
• Provides an exceptional level of service to customers
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based or physical maps
• Performs inspections on equipment used for the transportation of hazardous materials
• Completes and maintains accurate records of truck inspections, hours of service and miles in compliance with all DOT regulations.
• Maintains operational efficiency of vehicle, adheres to vehicle maintenance schedule

Responsibilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of tanker experience
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Current DOT medical certification
• Propane certification preferred but not required
• Ability to obtain Transportation Workers Identify Card (TWIC)
